Blake Lively’s friendship with her longtime best friend Gigi Hadid is under question after she skipped her 30th birthday party.
On Friday, the supermodel rang in her birthday with many of her celebrity pals but her close friends Lively and Ryan Reynolds were noticeably absent.
Hadid celebrated her birthday at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City alongside her boyfriend Bradley Cooper and a slew of other stars, but not her best friend of approximately a decade.
She celebrated alongside her sister Bella Hadid and their parents Yolanda and Mohammed, and the guest list also featured many supermodels and actress Anne Hathaway.
And Taylor Swift reportedly snuck into Hadid’s star-studded soirée without Travis Kelce by her side, according to gossip site DeuxMoi.
Two days later, journalist Kjersti Flaa, who claimed she was bullied by the actress in a resurfaced video from 2016, reacted to Lively and Reynolds’ lack of attendance at Hadid’s birthday party on her podcast Flaawsome Talk.

Flaa expressed shock that Lively did not help her friend celebrate what she noted was a very important occasion and milestone birthday — especially after their big appearance together at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere and many more industry events.
Lively later opted to fly to Wales instead for a soccer match and to cheer on Reynolds’ UK team Wrexham AFC.
Based on Lively’s attendance at the TIME100 Gala in New York City with her mother and Reynolds the day before, Flaa speculated that their reason for not going to Hadid’s party could not be due to being out of town or them not wanting to go out.

Flaa further speculated that Hadid and Cooper did not invite the couple as they ‘probably waiting to be subpoenaed’ in the ongoing legal battle between Lively and Justin Baldoni.
On February 5, 2025, Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman shared a statement via TMZ: ‘Anyone that reasonably has information that can provide evidence in this case is going to be deposed.’
Swift is reportedly set to be subpoenaed this week.
Flaa claimed that Hadid and Cooper appear to have been a little involved, but involved nonetheless, in It Ends With Us, and for that reason, they could dragged into the legal drama and be summoned to court.
Hadid previously gushed about the movie at the premiere, hinting at the fact that she was invited to a pre-screening at Lively’s penthouse, which No Filter podcast host Zack Peter previously speculated.
