Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce did not drop by Monday’s Met Gala event in NYC.
That is because they were busy on the road, a Tuesday report from People claimed.
And it was not because Taylor’s years-long ‘foe’ Kim Kardashian was at the splashy event. Kim was dragged into Swift’s fight with Kanye West that began in 2015. The feud was dragged out with snake imagery and angry songs from Taylor.
Instead, lovebirds Taylor and Travis just wanted some alone time.
The site claimed that Swift and Kelce ‘have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it.’
It was added: ‘They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.’
The insider also said that the stars are ‘very serious and in sync,’ adding: ‘They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.’

The Bad Blood hitmaker, 35, and her NFL boyfriend, 35, were both invited to fashion’s biggest night.
The singer has been absent from the event for eight years now.
While Taylor’s last appearance at the soirée was in 2016, when she co-chaired the ‘Manus x Machina’ Met Gala, Travis has never been.
The couple’s last public sighting was on March 14 while dining together at Del Frisco’s Grille in New York City.
The Met Gala was hit with a number of shocking last-minute cancellations from longtime veterans of the event to one of this year’s honorary co-chairs.
The event was slammed as ‘boring’ and ‘underwhelming’ after failing to deliver the star power and glamour of years past.
The red carpet was besieged by celebrities in drab black and gray outfits. Even bombshells like Sydney Sweeney and Dua Lipa failed to stand-out as they made the trek up the museum’s iconic staircase in forgettable gowns.

The theme of this year’s Met Gala is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style and the co-chairs are Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour.
Hours before the event, LeBron James broke the news he would not be making his Met debut, despite his role as the event’s honorary chair.
The NBA superstar took to X to express his devastation as he explained his absence was due to a knee injury that he ‘sustained at the end of the season.’
‘I won’t be able to attend the Met Gala in NY tonight as so many people have been asking and congratulating me on! Hate to miss an historical event!’ he wrote.
James, 40, noted that his wife Savannah, 38, would be attending in his place.
‘My beautiful powerful Queen will be there holding the castle down as she always has done!’ he gushed.
On Monday, British supermodel Naomi Campbell also revealed she won’t be descending upon the ‘blue carpet.’
‘I was so honored to be invited to tonight’s big event, but regretfully cannot make it,’ she told her Instagram followers.
