New Jersey rock legend Bruce Springsteen has doubled down on his feelings about President Donald Trump after he called the singer a ‘dried out prune.’

The 75-year-old rocker publicly spoke about the Commander-in-Chief during a show in Manchester, England on Wednesday evening, calling Trump ‘an unfit president’ who runs ‘a rogue government’ that is ‘corrupt, incompetent and treasonous.’

Trump then took to his social media platform Truth Social with a blistering response, calling Springsteen ‘a dried out prune of a rocker’ and ‘a pushy, obnoxious JERK.’

‘I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States. Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden,’ Trump went on.

‘Springsteen is ‘dumb as a rock,’ and couldn’t see what was going on, or could he (which is even worse!)? This dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that’s just ‘standard fare.”’Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!’

After hearing what the president had to say, The Boss reinforced his beliefs at the E Street Band’s show at the Co-op Live in Manchester Saturday night, stating that events in the US ‘are altering the very nature of our country’s democracy.’

‘In my home, they’re persecuting people for their right to free speech and voicing their dissent. That’s happening now,’ he stated. ‘In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death.

‘That’s happening now. In my country, they’re taking sadistic pleasure in the pain they inflict on loyal American workers.’

The singer went on to repeat his statement before performing his hit song My City of Ruins.

‘There’s some very weird, strange, and dangerous (expletive) going on out there right now,’ he said.

Just days after the My Hometown hitmaker issued his first scathing review of Trump, The American Federation of Musicians stood behind Springsteen and pop star Taylor Swift.

Trump has publicly mentioned the Shake it Off singer as he previously said of her: ‘Has anyone noticed that, since I said “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” she’s no longer “HOT”?’

The labor union group said both performers were ‘singled out and personally attacked’ by the Republican.

‘The American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada will not remain silent as two of our members − Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift − are singled out and personally attacked by the President of the United States,’ the group continued.

‘Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift are not just brilliant musicians, they are role models and inspirations to millions of people in the United States and across the world. … Musicians have the right to freedom of expression, and we stand in solidarity with all our members.’

Although Springsteen has been critical of Trump’s policies since 2016, this is the first time he’s openly addressed his opinions on a concert stage.

Meanwhile, Trump played his hit song Born in the U.S.A. during his campaign rallies that year.

On Monday, the president took to social media to attack former 2024 rival Kamala Harris just hours after Joe Biden’s devastating cancer diagnosis was made public.

The president demanded a ‘major investigation’ into Harris after she dolled out massive amounts of campaign cash for major celebrity appearances from the likes of Springsteen, Beyoncé and Oprah.

Trump claimed that Harris’ lofty spending for performances at her events equates to using donations to pay for endorsements, which is illegal.

Springsteen was seen in a YouTube video telling Americans he decided to cast his vote for Harris and Tim Walz for the 2024 presidential election.

‘Donald Trump doesn’t understand what it means to be deeply American. On the other hand, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone.

‘That’s the vision of America I’ve been consistently writing about,’ he added.
