When it comes to shoes, we’re firm fans of a platform. They’re much more manageable than a stiletto heel, plus two of our style icons have just worn the very same design!

Coincidence? Or are these amazing Aquazzura sandals actually the perfect platforms…

Our forever favourite model Kate Moss wore them to attend the Fashion Awards in London on 4th December, then superstar singer Taylor Swift celebrated her 34th birthday alongside Blake Lively in New York a matter of days later in a velvet version of the crystal embellished beauties.

After Taylor was spotted in the towering heels, searches for Aquazzura reportedly shot up, so you’ll have to be quick if you’re keen to get your hands (and feet) on them. Especially now that they’re reduced by a whopping 40% in the sale!

Aquazzura Atelier 140mm crystal-embellished satin sandals

It might be early in the year, but we’re already crowning these our must-have heels of 2024.

The crystal embellishment, the delicate little knot and the satin finish are just sublime.

They boast the label’s signature gold pineapple motif on the sole, and in classic black they’ll go with everything.

Aquazzura sizing can be a little on the large side, so we suggest going half a size down.

Taylor is loving platform heels at the moment (she recently wore the ‘Sundance’ style too), perhaps in part because her new American footballer beau Travis Kelce is 6’5″.

She’s a big fan of Aquazzura’s footwear, and of course she’s not the only one. Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle both love THOSE bow back heels, plus Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Amal Clooney and Beyonce are all in the club as well.

Even with 40% off, these covetable shoes are not the most budget-friendly you’ll find in the virtual shops, so if you’re after a more affordable take on the trend, look no further than our round-up of similar options.

From Asos, Public Desire and Misspap to Steve Madden and Loeffler Randall, giving your LBD a lift for 2024 couldn’t be easier!
